원초(原初)'는 자연이라는 추상적 개념을 시청각적 요소로 치환해 인간의 원초적 감각을 일깨우는 디자인 프로젝트입니다. 자연의 소리를 채집·분석해 드럼 소리로 변환하고, 시각적 악보로 재구성하여 그래픽과 결합했습니다. 물·불·흙·공기 4원소의 소리를 드럼 연주로 표현하고 트레싱지의 비침 효과로 합쳐진 자연을 시각화했습니다.
Primal' is a design project that awakens human primal senses by turning the abstract concept of nature into audiovisual elements. Natural sounds are collected, converted into drum sounds, and reconstructed as visual scores with graphics. The title uses drum score notes as motifs, and the four elements—water, fire, earth, and air—are expressed through drum performances, with tracing paper translucency showing the unified nature.
